BIOGRAPHY
Andy Del is a Singer Songwriter with a multi-instrumentalist talent for writing, artistic recording and uniquely creative performance. His recent and highly successful CD release of ‘Part of the Flow’ (2017), played to an enthusiastic and sold out Noel S. Ruiz Theater in Oakdale, NY - with Radio play reaching over 100 stations internationally. His second CD to do so well. His First CD, 'Different Point of View' (2013), the initial Courageous Cats, performed for a full house at the Boulton Center in Bayshore, NY. While working on his next CD release, expected for late 2022, he maintains his solo and trio performance schedules with current residencies in New York at a variety of venues in Patchogue, The Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, the Oakdale Yacht Club in Oakdale, NY, and is a Summer regular at fatfish on the Water in Bayshore, NY, as well as a list of top Long Island Performance centers.
Aside from his solo, duo and Trio acts, his full band, ‘Andy Del & the Courageous Cats’ jumped on the Long Island scene in early 2017 and have wowed audiences with an eclectic and electrifying mix of cover tunes and catchy originals from his well-received CD collection. Aside from Andy’s Dynamic and passionate vocals, Guitar licks and tasty rhythms, the Courageous Cats bring an assortment of seriously entertaining and professional players to the front line. Most notably, Bass player Henry Goode, a roundtable of very special guests on Keys, plus the electrifying Mark Narcisse on Sax and Flute, with a host of other hot players in rotation. All of this is backed by the solid grooves of Matt Wingert, plus Frank Patterson and Frank Bellucci taking their reps on Drums. A great mix of Blues, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Dixie, Soul, Swing, Cajun and Jammin' Groove tunes with great audience appeal is what makes this band so likable and refreshing.
